Tera Ventures leads investment into Estonian fintech Mifundo as part of 10 million euro award

A combination of their previously unannounced €1.2m pre-seed round led by Tera Ventures, Mifundo has also been awarded €2.5M grant funding, alongside a decision for €6,3M in matched funding approved (subject to matched private funding) by the prestigious European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator program from the European Investment Bank (EIB), making it the first fintech company in Europe to receive such an award.

Tera Ventures leads the €620k seed funding round to CARÁ Health

CARÁ Health is an all-encompassing health and wellness resource that provides women with support and guidance throughout the maternity journey, from pregnancy to postpartum. The round was led by Tera Ventures, with participation from Startup Istanbul founder Burak Büyükdemir via StartupIst Ventures. It brings the startups’ total funds raised to date to €750k.

Tera Ventures co-leads the €1.5m investment round to 10Lines

The round was jointly led by Tera Ventures and Karista, along with participation of Butterfly Ventures and Mike Oliinyk (Ex Uber, Wise, Wolt), this investment will fuel 10Lines' expansion, particularly in the US market, where the company has already established a presence.

Tera Ventures and Specialist VC participate in the €2 million pre-seed investment round to Supersimple

Supersimple, an AI-native data analytics platform that enables anyone to explore data and accurately answer complex questions in minutes, today announced €2 million in pre-seed funding. The round is led by Tera Ventures with participation from Specialist VC, Tiny VCand a variety of angel investors that include the former CTO of Twilio and the founders of Sixfold and Grünfin.

Home rental platform Rendin announced the closing of nearly €2 million round led by Tera Ventures, with participation from Startup Wise Guys.

Tera Ventures’ portfolio company BotGuard raised a €12m Series A led by MMC Ventures

BotGuard OÜ, an Estonia-founded cybersecurity software company that helps web hosting providers control traffic and protect their infrastructure from malicious threats, has secured a €12 million Series A funding round led by MMC Ventures. Existing investors Tera Ventures and Expeditions Fund also participated in the round, alongside prominent angel investors including Stefan Lindeberg.

Tera Fund II company AI Clearing has recently raised a $14m Series A led by Prudence VC, a proptech focused fund based out of New York. Tera Ventures also participated having led both previous rounds.

Tera.VC and EstBAN unite for the Latitude59 2023 Pitch Competition with a prize fund of 1M euros

Latitude59, Estonia’s flagship tech and startup conference, which takes place on May 24-26, 2023 in Tallinn, is launching a Pitch Competition with a prize fund of up to one million euros. The fund, largest of its kind in the Baltic region, has been put together by EstVCA member Tera Ventures and the Estonian Business Angels Network EstBAN and is open for applications.
