Aampere, a Munich-based e-mobility startup, has raised €4.2 million to expand its fully digital resale platform for used electric cars across Europe. The round was led by EstVCA member Trind Ventures.
Vend Marketplaces, the Nordic marketplace group behind FINN.no, Blocket and Bilbasen, joined as a minority investor, alongside new consumer investor G-FUND. Existing investors around GIMIC increased their stakes, and business angels from the automotive industry also took part. This is Aampere's second round in nine months, following the €1.6 million round Trind Ventures led in autumn 2025.
Founded in 2022 by Florian Reister (CEO), Niko Schmidt (CGO) and Maximilian Rost (CPO), Aampere is targeting a market that remains highly fragmented and largely analog, defined by opaque processes, manual handling and isolated national solutions. Its answer is a fully digital, pan-European platform combining a self-learning pricing algorithm, a digital condition-and-history check and integrated vehicle logistics. Private and commercial sellers enter a dealer auction and receive a binding purchase offer within 48 hours, with Aampere handling valuation, payment and logistics.
The company sells several thousand electric vehicles annually, quadrupled its revenue over the past year, and has grown its team to more than 25 people.
"Flo, Maxi and Niko have delivered exceptionally in a short time, with around 4x growth over the past year and a customer experience that keeps getting better for sellers and buyers alike. We're glad to keep backing Aampere with full conviction," said Taavi Lepmets, Partner at Trind Ventures.
The funding will open new seller acquisition channels, expand Aampere's dealer network, and support entry into new European markets.
The raise reflects growing investor interest in the infrastructure underpinning Europe's electrification, where the secondary market increasingly determines the pace of EV adoption.
