Onodrim, a European defence technology startup, has raised €40 million in its debut funding round. The round was led by Founders Fund, Lakestar, and General Catalyst, with participation from Iron Wolf Capital, Air Street Capital, and several European and U.S. angel investors.
The funds will be used to accelerate R&D, recruit engineering talent, and expand defence‑industrial infrastructure across Europe, positioning Onodrim as a key player in the continent's strategic autonomy and next-generation defence technology ecosystem.
Kasparas Jurgelionis, Managing Partner at Iron Wolf Capital, commented: "We're inspired by the generational and international impact that the team behind Onodrim aims to have, and are proud to be backing such an ambitious Lithuanian-co-founded company."
Onodrim is a European defence and industrial technology platform aiming to rebuild core defence‑industrial capabilities across software, hardware, manufacturing and systems integration. The company was founded by Aistis Šimaitis, Alexander Blessing, and Christian Garrett, with a leadership profile rooted in Palantir and national‑security technology experience. Onodrim combines next‑generation software, advanced sensors, networked systems, and manufacturing to address high‑priority national security needs such as border protection, resilient supply chains, and interoperability across European and allied forces.
Christian Garrett, Co‑Founder of Onodrim: "We aim to become a trusted partner directly with those providing these next-generation systems, while focusing on using technology to build infrastructure and supply chain capabilities in Europe at a time when Europe is rebuilding its defence industrial base. Helping scale a fragmented supplier base and build technology-based infrastructure is what's needed to defend the eastern flank and ensure centuries of prosperity for Europe and the West. We believe more than most that both are more tied at the hip than we realise."
