Verge HealthTech Fund invests in Arogga
Verge HealthTech Fund has invested in Arogga, a Bangladesh-based digital health platform focused on improving access to essential healthcare services nationwide. The investment will support Arogga’s continued expansion as it scales affordable, safe, and convenient healthcare services nationwide.
Founded by Rosina Mazumder, Yawar Mehboob, Fahad Hossain, and Shamim Hasan, Arogga operates one of Bangladesh's largest online pharmacy platforms, enabling patients to upload prescriptions and receive verified medicines delivered directly to their homes. The platform addresses a major market challenge: an estimated ~30% of medicines in circulation are counterfeit, helping restore trust in the healthcare supply chain.
Arogga is evolving into an integrated primary healthcare platform, combining e-pharmacy services with at-home diagnostic sample collection and upcoming telemedicine consultations. By bringing these services together, the company aims to improve accessibility, reliability, and convenience for millions of patients across Bangladesh.
To date, Arogga has reached over 2.5 million registered users, delivering medicines and enabling diagnostic services from urban centres such as Dhaka to rural communities through a centralised fulfilment model.
