Vocal Image, an AI-powered voice training and communication improvement platform, has raised a
$3.6 million seed round. The round was led by Educapital,
with participation from Specialist VC and Generations Fund.
Founded by CEO Nick Lakhoika and now operating with a lean team of 20, many of whom are Belarusian exiles, Vocal Image first relocated to Tallinn and joined the local accelerator Startup Wise Guys. The startup’s impressive growth trajectory includes reaching $6.5 million in annual recurring revenue on less than $1 million raised during its pre-seed stage.
By August 2025, ARR had surged to $12 million, while its paid user base swelled to some 50,000.
Vocal Image’s competitive edge stems from its GDPR-compliant AI dataset, which comprises more than 1 million real-voice samples, with approximately 35,000 new recordings added daily. The platform’s “Voice Rating” feature enables community members to label others’ voices (e.g., “confident,” “childlike”), enriching its dataset and personalization capabilities.
With the new funding, the company plans to expand its development team and introduce additional localizations beyond its current offerings in English, Spanish, German, French, Ukrainian, and Russian.
