NEW MEMBER: Tenity - a global early-stage VC with backing from the Swiss stock exchange - joins EstVCA

26 October 2023

We are very happy to announce that Tenity is joining EstVCA as a member in the Foreign Fund category.  Tenity is a global early-stage VC with backing from the Swiss stock exchange that specializes in Fintech & Insurtech. Their mission centers on nurturing innovative early-stage startups in the finance, insurance, and sustainability sectors.

Tenity’s journey commenced in 2015, originally as F10, in Zurich's financial heart. Today, they operate across four hubs spanning Europe and Asia. Tenity’s team strongly believes in the transformative power of collaboration, uniting ambitious founders with prominent corporations, forward-thinking investors, and dedicated mentors. Ultimately, Tenity is building an innovation ecosystem shaping the future of finance. To date, Tenity has conducted over 250 investments.

Kevin Chavanne, investment manager at Tenity Nordics describes the ecosystem as a nightclub: “We bring in the elephants (the corporates) and the mice (startups), provide the drinks and the music, and have them dance.”

Kadri Lindpere, the Managing Director of EstVCA says it is great to see more and more foreign investors joining the Estonian tech ecosystem in active roles. „We created the Foreign Fund category for our membership a few years ago as the interest in becoming active members of the community has increased, which again proves the attractiveness of the Estonian tech and VC ecosystem. It is great to see Tenity joining us, as vertical-focused investors entering the market is trending and it’s great to have a fintech fund amongst us.”
