As EU is pouring more investments to reach set climate goals, electric vehicles and their charging technologies are critical to develop further. One of the startups helping to reach our climate goals is Estonian clean tech startup VOOL. The company was founded by energy experts Juhan Härm
, Sander Vahtras
and Hindrik Kilter
in 2018. The startup provides EV charging solutions offering reliable, smart, and cost-efficient charging for business and private customers, making the transition to green energy faster, more affordable, and hassle-free.
Together with the seed round VOOL has raised €4.7M in total funding. With the additional funding VOOL intends to
increase the production of their chargers and expand into new European markets. VOOL has set a target of 20,000 charging stations installed by the end of 2023 which is 0,06% of Europe's private charging points needed by 2030, according to research by McKinsey
