Membership

The Estonian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (EstVCA) has 18 members and 22 associate members. Its statutes are as follows:

An EstVCA full member can be any legal entity or private individual whose principal activity (or majority of its activities) is to manage on a professional level an investment portfolio, which is comprised of the entities that are not publicly traded on a stock exchange and where a legal entity or private individual possesses a direct or indirect holding.

To become a member,  a person must submit an application and a written recommendation from a current member of EstVCA to the Board of EstVCA. Membership will be determined by a simple majority of votes by members of the Board at the first meeting to follow the date of the membership application’s submission.

An associate member of EstVCA can be any legal entity or person whose activities are related to private equity and venture capital and who is interested in the development of the Estonian private equity and venture capital market. Associate members must agree with the goals and activities for which EstVCA stands and who has submitted a written application to the Board of EstVCA to become an associate member.
