The main goals of EstVCA are:
- to create and project an
image of the private equity industry, venture capital, and institutionalized
business angels’ investments in Estonia, and to manage the public relations of
the industry;
- to represent PE&VC
industry in local and international relations and to enhance international
collaboration, information and best practices exchange;
- to coordinate and
encourage collaboration between enterprises and business angels;
- to design best
practices, harmonize standards and working ethics, and to improve the common
local terminology of private equity and venture capital industry among industry
participants;
- to participate in the
Estonian legislative process;
- to
collect and analyze statistics and other related information about private
equity and venture capital in Estonia;
- to share information among EstVCA members,
organize training seminars, and to share information and experiences among industry
participants;
- to
arrange relevant events for members;
- to
stimulate and maintain strong contacts and an active membership within the
EstVCA;
- to
cooperate with relevant research and educational institutions, trade
associations, policy makers and other industry specific affiliates and state
authorities;
- to improve the private equity and venture
capital attraction to Estonia.
